In the book Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech the book shows that Sal a 13 year old girl was on a road trip with her grandparents to find her mother that had traveled to Idaho the problem was that Sal did not know if her mother was dead or not her father knows that her mother is dead but Sal does not want to give up on the chance to visit her mother on her birthday.
